Are we able to receive the same blessings today that God gave Abraham and Israel?

And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Romans 11:17-21 KJV

The nation of Israel was the promised seed but when they did not believe God stirred their hearts to jealousy by adopting the rest of the world in to the family as well. We were grafted in to the family of God. More importantly we were chosen to be with Him. Not just some, the option is open for everyone. He loves us all!

The promises of blessings that God gave to Abraham and the nation of Israel are also available for us today. God added more to the blessings He promised in the Old Testament and whoever wants to accept them are more than welcome to do so. In fact, He wants you to receive everything good that He promises.

And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:29 KJV

If you are in Christ, then you are able to receive the blessings, and inheritance that God promised. Whether you are male or female, you are all one in Christ. His arms are open to receive you.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: Ephesians 3:1 KJV

Through Christ we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings. Smile and rejoice because as the New Year is just  around the corner you can begin to declare that you will live and walk in those blessings now and forever.
