Seeking God with all your heart

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

Are you really seeking God with all your heart? We may think reading the bible and going to church is the way we are supposed to seek God but actually it’s more than that. For example, think of when you meet someone new. Do you read about them somewhere and then you can say you know “Joe” or “Jane”? I am sure the answer is no. You spend time with them and converse with them; you ask them questions about them. You find out their likes and dislikes. Our Heavenly Father and Jesus are the same. Converse with them, ask them questions and you will be surprised and amazed – they answer you! The bible says “ask and it shall be given to you”. (Matthew 7:7) Sit with God quietly and listen carefully! He has been waiting for you to do that…
