Moses is a shadow of Jesus

And he said, when ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. Exodus 1:16

Moses was a shadow of Jesus in the Old Testament. He was spared from death as an infant; he stepped down from the Pharaoh’s house to save his people. Now compare – Jesus also stepped down from His place of royalty to save His people. When Jesus was an infant, God used the same country (Egypt) to protect the savior. God has a great sense of humor too! He made the enemy of the savior of God’s people (Moses) take care of him while he was growing up. He did the same for Jesus.

God revealed Jesus throughout the OT. We have to keep our eyes open to see Him and you will. God is amazing! Brilliant plan!
