Are You Broken And Need Restoration?

Are You Broken And Need Restoration?

Are you in need of restoration in your body? Are you fighting something and you need to be whole again? Well, fret no more because the Bible says you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. I love the way the word is so multi faceted. You can read a scripture and it will have several depths to it’s meaning. There are spiritual concepts as well as viewing it in the natural. Reading a scripture in the natural simply means reading it the way it is written, like a story. Of course if this is the only way you read the scriptures you would miss out on the spiritual blessings it provides.

There are several instances in the Bible where Jesus says someone’s faith has made them whole. The state of being whole is being free of an ailment which is affecting your body in any way contrary to what God intended your life to be. We must remember that our God wants us whole and healed. So this should be encouraging for you to know that as you desire to be well, our Father and the Lord Jesus want this too.

* The Woman Was Made Whole *

But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. Matthew 9:22 KJV

In this first healing a woman was having a problem with her cycle. For 12 years she searched for a cure but she was still experiencing abnormality. She heard Jesus was in town and in her heart she made a decision. She decided if she would just have an opportunity to touch the hem of the healer’s garment she could be healed.

She indeed received what she purposed in her heart. She set the way it would be done for her and she received wholeness exactly as she believed and spoke.

The first time I received healing in my body this passage was so impacting to me because the Lord showed me this was exactly how I received my own healing. For 12 years I had an issue with my back and was spending my money seeking to be whole again and free of pain. The pain was not every day but it was there and I thought it would never go away completely. I was managing my life with it. So these kinds of ailments are the ones that we sometimes live with because they are not life threatening. You can still live if it is not removed. Many of us have settled or just simply accepted “this is the way it will be”.

In my case, I had never heard of a miracle occurring in my lifetime nor from friends around me. Not even in the church I attended growing up. I never once heard of a miracle. So one day when a traveling missionary came to my town and performed miracles, signs and wonders I was invited to see them. While I was in the service I purposed in my heart if I only had something to be able to be healed from I could go to the front to receive my healing. Now, mind you, I was not thinking about the 12 years I had suffered with back pain because it was now part of my life. I couldn’t see I was sick anymore. But my faith made me whole again. My faith in Jesus could heal me if I had “something” wrong with me was the turning point. I did experience his healing power. You can too! Praise God!

Are you settling with some ailment because you have had it for years and it is not killing you? Well, Jesus wants you free and whole!

* The Blind Man Was Made Whole *

And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. Mark 10:52 KJV

In this next instance a blind man named Bartimaeus wanted to be whole. He asked Jesus to help him receive his sight. This man knew who Jesus was. He knew he could be made whole if he asked him personally. Even when the disciples were blocking him from speaking to Jesus he was not giving up. He was persistent in having an audience with the healer. He wanted to speak with him personally. He was not going to accept any answer other than yes.

He was finally called and he removed his garment. A garment is important because this was what identified him. He took it off because he did not want to be that person anymore.

Do you have something that identifies you as the “sickly” person who needs to be made whole? Remove it and come to Jesus! A garment is not limited to clothes. It can also be a wheelchair, medication, glasses for instance. Seek an audience with the healer and don’t give up. If you don’t hear anything keep seeking him until you can hear him. One word from him and you can be made whole too. It all depends on you!

How much are you willing to push through to hear and receive a word from him? Don’t give in because you too can have what you desire if you don’t give up. It is in your hands. It is your “faith” that will heal you. Jesus provided everything for us at the cross. That was two thousand years ago! Now you can appropriate it through faith. Use it today and be whole!
