Are You The Bait of Satan?

Where are you today? Have you found yourself accusing your brothers and sisters in Christ? Who is the accuser of the brethren? The enemy is not slack in his cunning devices. He seeks whom he may devour and will use those of weaker faith to participate in his work. Have you asked yourself if you are a willing participant in his plans and not aware? The kingdom of darkness is rising quickly. Are you being part of that growth? 

Beloved, you must be vigilant! Know how the enemy works his plan. He plants seeds in the one who does wrong to bring others down with him. “Misery loves company,” you’ve heard that old saying. 

When someone is not grounded or rooted in the word it is easy to be lured away by your own lusts. What kind of lusts? There are 3 weaknesses of man. Gals, gold and glory. The lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life. 

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:16 KJV

Gold refers to money and it is one of the major ways the enemy entices people. What are you doing to gain money in your life? Have you prostituted the church for monetary gain? Have you settled for evildoing in order to gain “for the church”? Remember the enemy is divisive. He wants to separate the body of Christ anyway he can. This is a time to stick together not grow apart. If you are growing apart from people, ministries or the church analyze the reason why.

For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 1 Corinthians 3:3 KJV

The apostle Paul taught if you are fighting or there are divisions among you then you are still acting carnal.

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. Romans 16:17 KJV

There are wolves who appear to be like sheep in the fold who want to cause division and offenses. Be aware and do not fall into the scheme of the enemy.

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1 Corinthians 1:10 KJV

As I mentioned earlier, the apostle Paul saw divisions and bickering in the church and wrote these letters to deal with the problem. Today is no different if we do not pay attention. Bickering and disagreements of any kind are a work of the devil. Beloved, let us not be a worker of evil but of loving one another and of good. The Lord hates a lying tongue and sees it as an abomination. 

Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight. Proverbs 12:22 KJV

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. James 3:16 KJV

In these dark times we are living sometimes we just need a refresher in what the word of God has taught us. We can be easily deceived if we let ourselves fall into the bait of Satan.
