Be all things to all people

To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings. 1 corinthians 9:22-23

In other words, Paul adapted himself to whoever he met in order to be effective to his audience. If he met a Jew, he was a Jew. If he met a gentile, he was a gentile. Are we being all things to all people we meet? To evangelize or share Jesus we should meet on a common ground. Observe, listen carefully and then speak. Successful missionaries observe the culture and the people first then they speak on the common ground they discover. Go be wise as serpents and innocent as doves!
