Is there anything that can separate us from our Lord? According to the word of God it appears there isn’t anything. The scripture says that tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril or even a sword cannot separate us from the love of Christ.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ~ Romans 8:35 KJV

If we can truly understand that God is love and our Lord Jesus simply worded…loves you then let’s agree to have more peace and joy each day. We were created to be loved and when we know someone loves us through our faults, imperfections and even our awful behavior we should feel more secure. We have an unconditional love that no one can give other than our God. When we face difficult times He is there loving us! When we face persecution He is there loving us. Our job is to tune into Him and draw upon that love for strength. He wants to spend time with you more than you can imagine.

Many believers have been taught that God is angry with us and disappointed daily with our actions; we are sinners and we are lower than dirt in his eyes. That is so far from the truth! You are righteous and you are precious in his eyes and he loved you enough to send His only son to pay for the ransom to have you in his presence and be his family member. Wake up with a smile because you are highly favored in the eyes of God and man. The blessings of God surround you like a shield. Nothing will separate you from Him!
