These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. ~ Revelation 17:14 KJV

Are you called? Are you chosen? The Bible gives us the answer but you need to be able to answer this for yourself as well. What did we learn from Jesus about being chosen?

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you, ~ John 15:16 KJV

You were chosen from the very beginning to be with Him. He loves you so much. We are the variable and we are the ones to accept to be called part of God’s family or not. You are not forced to be with Him. On the contrary, you are free to make a choice. He says to choose wisely and he points you in the right direction but ultimately you make the decision.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, (19) to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18-19 KJV

He has anointed you to do all these things too. When we accept Jesus as our savior he lives in us and he baptizes us with power to do God’s work. You were called and he has prepared you for the calling.

For even hereunto were ye CALLED: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: ~ 1 Peter 2:21 KJV

You were called. You have been equipped through the Holy Spirit and you were the one who accepts the call. Take your rightful place, be blessed and most of all be faithful within that calling. Listen to the Holy Spirit when he teaches us how to walk daily in our calling. Surrender and don’t look back. Your future is amazing with Him leading you.
