In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV
~ That shouldn’t be too difficult, right? It’s simple! Do you know what “everything” in Greek means? Same thing – everything! So that means if you stub your toe give thanks to God. If you loose your keys give thanks to God. You may say, “what! I can’t do that every time!” It takes practice but you can.
I remember the first time I heard Andrew Wommack teach that. I laughed but I did put it in to practice. It was funny actually. I stubbed my pinky toe one time and immediately said, “Praise God”! My husband said, “what was that for?” I laughed and told him. We both made it a habit and now we know that something happened when we say this but God is being praised. I can’t tell you how many times I have done something and hurt myself but when I stay focused on God and praise Him and maybe through gritted teeth I get some scriptures out I also experience a result. The pain subsides, I have no bruising and then I get to praise God again because I am healed.
No matter what you experience try it! Praise God and you will get to see and experience the miraculous. Have a blessed day – Praise the Lord it’s going to be another good day!
