For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4
~ Do you read scriptures and look at yourself? It is always good to read the scriptures as if it was written to you personally because it is after all a reflection of who you truly are. The bible is our mirror. If you don’t know the answer to something go look it up in the word and you will find the answer. God may even speak to you as you are flipping through the pages trying to figure out where could the answer be.
The Israelites murmured and complained. We can learn from them that we need to praise and not complain about things. Joseph, son of Jacob, went through many trials but he prospered in everything because he made God first in his life. There’s a good lesson and definitely one for patience. He waited 17 years before his promise was fulfilled. No one was perfect except Jesus and now He lives in us! He’s talking to us, He is guiding us and He protects us. Stand firm and remember what he promised you! If you don’t remember, go to the Word. It’s written down so you won’t forget. Keep it close to your heart!
