Was it evolution or creation that everything exists? That has been a debated question for many years. Recently we heard in the media or read in the news that the current pope has publicly said things that contradict the bible. Charles Darwin believed we evolved from apes. We always need to do research for ourselves and ask, “What does the bible really say?”

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. ~ Genesis 1:1

The first scripture in the bible states that GOD created the heaven and the earth. He spoke everything into existence with His words. He also created many other things using His words. I will list them in order according to what is written in the bible.

1st day = There was darkness so he spoke light into existence. He called light = day, and he called darkness = night. Gen 1:2-5

2nd day = He said let there be divisions between waters and the firmament. Firmament = heaven. Gen 1:6-8

3rd day = He said let the dry land appear and the waters moved aside. He called the land = earth. He called the waters = the seas. Then he said let the earth have grass and the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree have fruit after his kind. It would also have seed of it’s own to reproduce itself. Gen 1:9-13

4th day = He said let there be lights in heaven to divide day from the night. Sun = for the day. Moon = for the night. He also said these would be signs for seasons, days, and years and they would give light to the earth. He then spoke the stars in to existence. Gen 1:14-19

5th day = Then He spoke the seas would bring life in the water, and birds into the sky. He created whales and every living creature that moves in the water and in the air and blessed them to keep multiplying on it’s own.Then he said let the earth bring living creatures of every kind, cattle, creeping things and beasts. Gen 1:20-23

6th day = After everything was created he decided there should be someone like God and Jesus ruling over the fish of the sea, the birds and the cattle, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. Gen 1:26-31

Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. ~ Gen 1:26

He created Adam from the earth itself and then he created Eve from Adam’s rib. She was created to be a part of Adam, his other half, and God told them to be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth. Everything was created for Adam and Eve to rule over. They even had food provided from the trees that had fruit for them to eat.

7th day = God rested from all the things He created. Not because He was tired but it was an example for man to rest too.

By the word of the Lord were heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. ~ Psalm 33:6

For he spake, and it was done, he commanded and it stood fast. ~ Psalm 33:9

Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created. ~ Psalm 148:5

It is true that we can adapt to our environment. Animals adapt to the changes in weather. For example, a dog sheds it’s hair when the weather becomes warmer. When we live in higher altitudes our lungs are able to adapt and we can receive better oxygen intake so we don’t faint. If we lift weights and eat properly our muscles grow. If we train in swimming holding our breath we are able to swim further without breathing for some time. If we train hard our bodies become stronger.

Science for many years has been proving the bible to be true. A Japanese scientist by the name of Masaru Emoto took samples of water around the world, froze it to see its true nature. In doing so, he confirmed that we have power in our words. If he spoke bad words to the crystals he could see under a microscope that they would crystalize and look like polluted water. If he spoke positive words to the crystals there were frozen as beautifully shaped crystals each with a unique design. Just as God has power in His words to create all things, He created us to have that same ability and science proved that true!

For many centuries many people including scholars thought the earth was flat. Our trusty bible tells us the earth was round many years before that knowledge was confirmed. The book of Isaiah was written between 745 and 680 BC.

It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: ~ Isaiah 40:22

So in the end we were not created by a big bang, or a process of evolution. Humans did not evolve from apes or monkeys. We were created in God’s image. Animals were also created. They adapt to their environment but they cannot change into something completely different. An orange cannot become an apple; an ape cannot become a human. No matter how much time passes! There are different genes or genetic makeup involved. You were created in God’s image and He loves you very much!
